Overview
Causes
When body stops responding to chemical called anti diuretic hormone (ADH) also known as vasopressin. Major function of ADH is to make urine more concentrated. But in case of defect kidney produce large amount of urine in diluted form.
This is rare type of diabetes. Factors that increases risk factor includes:
- High level of calcium and decrease in potassium
- Any kind of blockage in urinary tract
- Use of drugs like lithium, amphotericin B
